Bruny Island Walk & Cruise 3D2N, Fully Guided

This 3-day Bruny Island Walk & Cruise takes you through varied terrain including towering dolerite cliffs, long sandy beaches, rich heathlands and eucalypt forests. This wonderful diverse landscapes offers diverse flora and fauna as well as many threatened and endemic species.

Bruny Island, located just 40km from Hobart off the south-eastern coast of Tasmania, is the state's fourth largest island. The island is separated from the Tasmanian mainland by the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, and its east coast lies within the Tasman Sea. Known for the incredible quality of its produce and fresh seafood, Bruny Island is also renowned for some of Tasmania's most beautifully preserved natural environments with abundant wildlife and stunning cliff top views. The island is about 50 km long but appears to be two islands with North and South Bruny joined by a narrow strip of land called Bruny Island Neck. Bruny Island Neck is an isthmus of land connecting north and south Bruny Island in southern Tasmania and offers stunning 360 degree views and is an important habitat for native wildlife.

The walk is fully supported and you only need to carry a day pack.

A small group of guests (maximum 12) are treated to coastal walks as well as Tasmanian produce including extravagant cheese, fresh oysters and mellow wine.

Your package includes 2 nights' accommodation at a historic guest house located at beautiful Little Taylors Bay and the beach, private transfers from Hobart, daily guided walks along Bruny's stunning coastline and all meals (2 breakfast, 3 lunches, 2 dinners).

Tasmania Tarkine Wilderness Walk & Cruise 5D4N, Fully Guided

Recognised as one of the world's largest cool temperate rainforests, north west Tasmania's Tarkine Wilderness is pristine, enchanting, lush and untouched. This fully guided hike is the ideal exploration of the Tarkine region, with 477,000 hectares of untouched forest thick with tree ferns, giant man ferns, Huon Pine and spectacular rivers and streams yours to discover.

Immerse yourself in the heart of The Tarkine on this 5-day moderately challenging experience. The region is home to unique habitats which support myriad wildlife species. After walking each day, you will head back to your accommodation to unpack and enjoy pre-dinner nibbles followed by a two-course meal prepared by your guides. 3-nights wilderness retreat accommodation at the beautiful Corinna Wilderness Experience and one night in tranquil surrounds at the Tullah Lakeside Lodge is included.

Over 4 exhilarating days, explore its red-gum forests and wetlands on foot and by boat encountering wildlife, waterbirds and spectacular cliffs while discovering the stories of this ancient landscape. The Murray River lies within the internationally recognised Riverland Ramsar Wetland of International Importance in South Australia. A combination of guided walking and peaceful cruising immerses you in this unique landscape, exploring the rich river heritage including Aboriginal culture, pastoralism and the intricate network of paddle-steamers, locks and weirs that operate within this fascinating river system. This is a wildlife spotters paradise, the wetlands area is renowned for its water birds, the endangered Southern bell frog and the handsome Regent parrot. Encounters with Red and Grey Kangaroos, emus, black swans and pelicans are a regular occurrence on the Murray River and 179 bird species have been recorded, including the elusive Red-capped Robin and mischievous Fairywrens.

All water transfers and the Day 4 return cruise from Bunyip Reach cliffs to Renmark are on a 12-seater catamaran cruiser which your guides will expertly navigate through more than 70km of tranquil waterways. At the end of each day's walking, you will be greeted with a beverage at the campfire before a 3-course dinner and a restful night in the comfort of a double room with superb river views on board your floating houseboat accommodation.
