  1. The Maria Island Walk 4D3N, Fully Guided

    close

Combining rare wildlife, convict heritage, and elegant accommodation, you'll truly enjoy the multi-award winning Maria Island walk by day and candlelit gourmet dining at night.

Just a few kilometres off Tasmania's east coast, Maria Island is 100% national park with a population of just two park rangers and their one car. This World Heritage Listed island is a sanctuary, and a Noah's Ark for rare Tasmanian birds and animals including an introduced population of disease-free Tasmanian devils.

The Maria Island Walk is an adventure led by warm, friendly and knowledgeable local guides. The food is fresh and local, the wine is Tasmania's best, and a comfortable bed each night awaits. The walk itself is easy to moderate with options to add challenge as desired.

These beaches are the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine, enjoy a barefoot stroll exploring for rare shells, or a swim in the turquoise waters that grace the island's shores.

On the final night, guests of the Maria Island Walk stay in a heritage house in Darlington, a UNESCO World Heritage site nestled on the northern tip of the island. Once a busting penal settlement with over 600 convicts, Darlington is now home to a medley of well-preserved historical buildings. It's also an excellent place to see wombats!

The walks operates between the months of October to April. If you wish to walk between the months of June to August, we offer a 3 day Maria Island Winter Escape.

The walk is suitable for walkers who can walk 10 - 15 km a day carrying light daypacks of 5-8kg. Participants over 70 require a medical certificate.

  4. Cape to Cape Luxury Taster Walk 4D3N, Fully Guided

    close

The Cape to Cape 4 day luxury walk is a fully guided small group walk which combines the best sections of the Cape to Cape track with great food and wine experiences and ultra-luxe accommodation at exclusive beachfront property, Injidup Spa Retreat. Packed with highlights, this premier walk features lunch with matched wines at an award winning winery, private chef dinner showcasing local produce with a local wine-maker on hand to present their wines, sunset cliff-top drinks and a very special private didgeridoo performance with one of the region’s traditional owners. This truly is a new way to walk.

The Cape to Cape track is located in Australia's South-West, in the Margaret River wine region of Western Australia. The track covers 135km of coast line from Cape Naturaliste (near Yallingup) in the North, to Cape Leeuwin (near Augusta) in the South. Located within the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, the track winds along pristine beaches and dramatic coastal cliffs, as well as through coastal bush that comes alive with wildflowers in the Spring. The magnificent karri trees of Boranup forest provide a great contrast, and Cape Leeuwin, which is also the meeting point of two oceans – the Indian and Southern – provides a unique terminus to the track.

The terrain is a combination of white sand, limestone cliffs, granite rock, old 4WD tracks, sealed paths and bushy track. The sections of the Cape to Cape track used for the tour are rated as moderate, with a couple of easier sections around Sugarloaf Rock and Boranup forest providing a breather.

For the nature lover, there is no shortage of wildlife and plant variety on the Cape to Cape track. The area is a world biodiversity hotspot, with approximately 80% of the plant life found nowhere else in the world. There are magnificent wildflowers along the track in Spring and an abundance of birdlife year round. Dolphins are regularly seen playing in the waves, and whales cruise the ocean alongside the track from June to December. Kangaroos and emus are not uncommon, and the impressive Southern Heath Monitor lizard is occasionally seen (or heard) rummaging in the bushes.

This is fully supported walk and you only need to carry a day pack. Return transfer to/from Perth is included.

The Yolŋu often say the land is their mother. It nurtures, heals and guides their lives. This is why the female visitor experience and connection to the Yolŋu people is often so profound.

Located in the farthest reaches of remote Northern Australia, East Arnhem Land is a vast and rugged wilderness. Here, you will find dramatic, unspoiled coastlines and palm tree-strewn, pearl-white beaches. The Yolŋu have roamed this area for at least 40,000 years, hunting fish and other animals and forging a deep connection with the land. Each Yolŋu Homeland has its own unique creation story, personality and landscapes.

Over 5 magical days, the Yolŋu women welcome you – mothers, daughters and small children – into their Homeland to experience their traditional way of life. With a small group of like-minded women, embark on a fascinating Cultural Awareness Program to learn firsthand about Yolŋu culture, history and country. You will learn about Yolŋu philosophy and kinship, gender roles and responsibilities, and language, both spoken and sign. You will have the opportunity to participate in traditional food gathering activities as well as crafts such as dancing, painting, weaving and jewellery making. Along the way, the Yolŋu women will share stories about the area and history of the region (pre- and post-contact). This tour strikes the right balance of solo and group time, but be prepared to leave your watches and your smartphones behind and not follow the itinerary precisely. You will interact with the Yolŋu women and their traditional lands on a much deeper level without these digital distractions.

This immersive, women’s only 5-day package includes 3-nights’ basic lodge or tent accommodation at a Yolŋu Homeland and 1-night’s accommodation at a motel in Nhulunbuy on a twin share basis. All meals are included as well as Yolŋu driver-guides, cultural experiences with Yolŋu families and all transport in the East Arnhem Region (including airport transfers and ground touring).
