  1. Ningaloo Sal Salis + Swim With The Whales 4D3N

    close

Swim with the ocean’s gentle giants – whale sharks and humpback whales – at the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef, with this action-packed, 4-day package based out of the famous Sal Salis beach safari camp.

Situated halfway up the West Australian coastline, Ningaloo Reef is the world’s largest fringing reef, a 260-kilometre (162-mile) long coral reef teeming with manta rays, turtles, dolphins, dugongs and more than 500 species of fish. Nowhere else on Earth can you see such a diverse array of marine life in such large numbers – and with such regularity. Ningaloo Reef is truly a bucket-list destination!

With transfers included from Learmonth Airport (LEA), you’ll spend 3-nights at Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef. Hidden in the white sand dunes of Cape Range National Park, Sal Salis offers just 15 eco-luxe wilderness tents, each overlooking the reef and sparkling Indian Ocean. Wake up to the song of a butcher bird or the raucous squawks of a galah and fill your days however you choose: relax in your tent’s hammock, laze on the beach, take part in the camp’s daily guided activities. Guided kayak-snorkels will take you further offshore to deeper lagoons, while field-guide led walks take in the majesty of the Mandu Mandu and Yardi Creek gorges at sunrise. Keep an eye out for native Australian wildlife including red kangaroos and black-footed rock wallabies!

The highlight of your time in Ningaloo will undoubtedly be the once in a lifetime opportunity to swim with the ocean’s gentle giants: whale sharks or humpback whales. From March to July, Ningaloo is the best place is the world to swim with whale sharks, while from August to October the coast is alive with humpback whales as they undertake their annual migration. Swimming with these majestic creatures is a truly transformative experience – one you are sure to treasure for the rest of your life.

This luxury 4-day package includes 3-nights’ accommodation at Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef on a twin share basis. Throughout your stay, you’ll enjoy all-inclusive restaurant-quality meals and snacks, with the opportunity to catch your own dinner. Daily guided activities are included as well as complimentary use of non-motorised waters sports equipment. Transport to and from Learmonth Airport also provided.
