This morning you will be picked up from the Perth Ambassador Hotel, located in the CBD, and travel on a scenic 3-hour drive to the town of Dunsborough where you will meet your private guide. Head directly to Cape Naturaliste, your first taste of the spectacular track. Meander amongst spectacular limestone cliffs before reaching the pristine waters of Yallingup, a popular surf beach. Pass by the impressive clifftop vistas and the iconic Sugarloaf Rock, a remarkable towering granite rock that emerges from the ocean. Enjoy a fresh gourmet lunch here while admiring views of the Sugarloaf Rock, one of the most spectacular coastal platform and photographed sites of the region that was graced by the cover of National Geographic.
Arrive at your award-winning beachfront base camp at Surfpoint Resort, in Gnarbup Beach, your accommodation for the next 7 days. This morning embarks on a picturesque walk leading south through rocky headland that passes by some of the most rugged granite-dominated landscapes of the entire track. From Yallingup, wander over the granite headland at Torpedo Rock, a spectacular narrow rock formation emerging out into the Indian Ocean, before reaching Smiths Beach. Continue along the coast of giant granite marbles that dominate near Canal Rocks. From here, you will traverse high over the ridge and pass Rotary Lookout, before dropping back down on to one of Western Australia’s most spectacular white sand beach, Injidup. Weave through stunning areas of limestone cliff and granite before walking through the stunted vegetation and granite fields of Moses Rock.
This afternoon, indulge in a memorable wine tasting experience at Margaret River’s award winning and founding estate, Vasse Felix. Enjoy the finest wines while overlooking spectacular views of the vineyard and Margaret River’s oldest vines.

This morning embarks on a picturesque coastal walk from Moses Rock to Gracetown. Marvel at the glorious panoramas of the coast from cliff top lookouts, creek crossings and the looming granites of Willyabrup.
Moses Rock is a popular surf break and this wild beach is surrounded by rocky outcrops and tidal pools, perfect to enjoy a beach walk and coastal exploration with magnificent views. The track emerges to a wonderfully constructed staircase leading up and unto the stunning sea cliffs that form the hidden gem of Wilyabrup Cliffs. Admire the cliffs of ancient granite rock looming up to 40-50 meters high above the ocean. During Spring, this section allows a perfect vantage point to spot whales as they majestically move calmly through the waters. A stretch of downhill then leads down onto the beach passing the famous surfing breaks of Gallows and Guillotines. Before reaching the pretty hamlet of Gracetown, wander through an enchanting section of lichen-covered rocks and an abundance of pink fairy orchids in Spring.
Enjoy an afternoon indulging in a personalized wine tour at Cape Grace Winery, matched with local cheese and a gourmet antipasto grazing platter. Enjoy an evening of relaxation, pamper yourself at the onsite massage or catch some rays by the pool before a delicious dinner back at your campsite.

Beginning at the picturesque hamlet of Gracetown, today’s walk will traverse 20km towards the low coastline into the historic settlement of Ellensbrook. From Ellensbrook, the Track quickly leaves the coast and meanders through sand dunes and past Ellensbrook homestead and Meekadarbee Falls. Visit the isolated coves of Gnoocardup and the turquoise bay of Kilcarnup. Marvel at the centuries-old osprey nest in Horseshoe Bay and then take in some of the world’s finest surfing coastline at Prevelly.
After a thrilling and long day of adventure, indulge in a scrumptious dinner at a culinary entertainment dining experience at Miki’s Open Kitchen. Return to your campsite for an evening of relaxation.
Approx. 21.5km, 4.5 hours walking, moderate grade
Today’s journey takes you on what is considered one of the best day walks on the Cape to Cape Track. Lace up your hiking boots as you will embark on a 21.5km walk from Gnarabup to the majestic Boranup Karri Forest.
From the limestone ridge at Prevelly you will head down into the sheltered creekline of Boodjidup Brook. Continue on and traverse the white sands of Boodjidup before reaching the stunning Redgate Beach. Brace yourself as this stretch of the coast has it all: pristine turquoise bays and white sand beaches, limestone caves, clifftop ocean views and the giant Karri trees of Boranup Forest. The highlight of this walk sees you climbing cliff tops for breath taking views of Contos Beach from above. This section of the track boasts its ultimate beauty during wildflower season when delicate natives light up the track. Witness a dramatic change in scenery as you descend inland away from the coast into the depth of the idyllic Boranup Karri Forest, home to the world’s third tallest hardwood. Admire the towering Karri trees, some over 60meters in height, undulate across the valley. Boasting at its ultimate in Spring, when the forest floor streams with delicate wildflowers and orchids. A longer day, but the solid track under foot and afternoon shade of the Karri Forest makes it all seem easy!
Marvel at one of the region’s amazing caves on your way home from the forest, before relaxing with another fresh and hearty gourmet dinner at camp.
Approx. 20.5km, 5 hours walking, moderate grade
Start your morning amongst the serenity of the tall karris of Boranup Forest, home to an array of wildlife and wildflowers in season. Head south, back into the coastal heath, and down onto the stunningly beautiful Boranup Beach. Transcend 7kms walking on sand leading to the protected Hamelin Bay, home to some of the Cape’s friendliest stingrays who love a feed of freshly caught fish. Continue on past the many islands and headlands through the coastal heath and past Foul Bay Lighthouse. From Cosy Corner we come in to the township of Margaret River. Relax, taste the local flavours and enjoy a sundowner meal at Margaret River’s very own microbrewery, The Brewhouse.
Approx. 19 km, 4-5hours walking, moderate to challenging grade
Rise and shine, it’s a big day! Today you cap off the last stretch of the greatest track, starting at Cosy Corner. Admire long sandy beaches as you journey towards your finish point to the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia, the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. A true icon of the track sitting at the tip of a spectacular peninsula where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet. The walk faces more into the south than the rest of the coast. True wilderness with limited road access the sights are reserved for the local hooded plovers and you. Granite headlands are broken up by long sections of shoe-sucking sand. Formidable, but it’s worth every step of the journey taking you closer to the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse and the moment of celebration.
Cheers to accomplishing one of the greatest walks of Australia while grasping the highlights of the track. Tonight, reward yourself to a celebratory dinner at The Common. A final chance to relish in the achievement of the last 7 days, receive your Cape to Cape completion certificate and cement the memories of a unique experience while enjoying the last coastal views of the breathtaking Margaret River on the sundeck.

We therefore strongly advise our customers to take specific ambulance cover through their health insurance provider.
